I create hand-drawn graphite portraits of you or someone you love, working from photographs or specially taken reference images. Each portrait begins with a conversation about your ideas. I’ll help develop the composition, style and size to create something personal and considered.

THE PROCESS

Once we agree on the direction, I’ll keep you updated as the portrait develops, from the initial stages through to the finished piece. I limit the number of commissions I accept so that each receives the time and attention it deserves. This can mean a waiting list, but if you have a particular deadline, let me know and we can discuss what’s possible.

PHOTO RESTORATION & ENLARGEMENT

Faded, damaged or treasured photographs can be carefully restored and enlarged before being transformed into detailed, hand-drawn artwork.

From family memories to historical portraits, each piece preserves the character, likeness and personal history held within the original image.
